Bill Lavarack - a senior botanist within Queensland National Parks was included in numerious expeditions by the Australian Orchid Foundation (A.O.F.) to Cape York Peninsular between 1976 and 1989. This publication is a revisited compilation of the reports presented after those expeditions. It contains information and photographs not included in the original reports. This is a must read for Australian native orchids enthusiasts as it presents an insight into the orchids observed and their habitat in an area rarely accessed by those other than botanists. - includes 68 colour photographs and numerous tables and maps.
